The ATHENA Institute was founded in 2006 to provide personal and professional development workshops and creative and brand consulting. In my fifteen years in corporate America as a marketer and entrepreneur, what I learned is balance and flow must come within. Health, wealth, home, parenting and personal passions are all a mish-mash of our daily existence. The more we can be in touch with who we are, the better we can be at each and every pursuit. So why do one thing? I know my authentic self would shrivel and throw a toddler tantrum if I tried to wrangle it to only one pursuit. Sure, know that you can do something well and pursue it, but certainly don't squelch the other creative urges that you have, either.
